So much so that when the Law Office of Corey L. Scott, LLC, was founded, this philosophy became a key part of our motto: “Professional Solutions for Everyday People.” Put simply, at our firm, we understand that no matter how a legal issue is dressed up or how sophisticated it may sound, at its core, we are dealing with the problems of everyday people seeking solutions. The solutions that we provide: allow families to make fresh financial starts, protect the freedom of people that have been accused of serious crimes, and give families a peaceful path forward after contentious legal battles.

We Make Client Service Our Mission

We agree with Shirley Chisolm, who said, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” As such, we are constantly looking for new and creative ways to be of service. So even after our job has been flawlessly executed, do not be surprised to be asked, “is there anything else that I can do to be of service?” Service is part of our DNA. I guess you could even go as far as to say that we are obsessed with client service. Like, really obsessed.

We Treat Our Clients How We Would Want To Be Treated

We treat every client how we would want our closest family members to be treated. Beyond that, in a world that worships “multi-tasking,” we have learned that to do two things at the same time is to do neither well. So we go out of our way to give each client’s case our undivided attention by working on one case at a time. As such, every client’s case becomes the most important case in the world to us when we are working on it. Actually, each client’s case becomes the ONLY case in the world to us because we work on one case at a time.

We Speak To Explain

We realize that most of our clients know absolutely nothing about how the legal process works. So, we make a conscious effort to speak plainly and explain the legal process every step of the way. No “million dollar words” or “legal mumbo jumbo” is allowed.
